How to keep your SISTROS. piece looking its best
1. General Care
Follow the care label on your garment first. The fabric composition is listed on the product page. The guidance below helps protect the fabric and embroidery during everyday care.
2. Washing Instructions
Follow these guidelines to protect the fabric and embroidery:
- Turn the garment inside out before washing
- Use cold water (30°C maximum) on a gentle cycle
- Use a mild, colour-safe detergent — avoid bleach and fabric softeners
- Wash similar colours together to prevent colour transfer
- Place in a mesh laundry bag to minimise friction
3. Drying
Tumble dry on a low heat setting or, for best results, lay flat to dry away from direct sunlight and heat sources. High heat can cause shrinkage and may damage the embroidery foam underlay in 3D puff designs.
4. Ironing
Do not iron directly over embroidered areas. If ironing is needed, turn the garment inside out and use a low heat setting. For 3D puff embroidery, place a thin cloth between the iron and the garment to avoid flattening the raised design.
5. Storage
Store your garment folded in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Avoid hanging heavy embroidered pieces for extended periods, as the weight may stretch the fabric around the design. With proper care, our embroidery is designed to last the lifetime of the garment.
